This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and procedures for delivering products purchased from SOCKSLEY, a sportswear manufacturing and online retailing company based in the Netherlands (EU). We are committed to providing efficient, reliable, and transparent shipping services to our customers worldwide. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms described herein. This policy is designed to ensure your satisfaction while complying with EU regulations and international shipping standards.

Shipping Methods Available
SOCKSLEY offers a range of shipping options to accommodate different needs and budgets:
1. Standard Shipping: Handled by trusted carriers such as PostNL within the Netherlands and EU, this economical option includes basic tracking and insurance up to €100.
2. Express Shipping: For faster delivery, we use premium services like DHL or UPS, with full tracking, signature confirmation, and higher insurance coverage (up to €500).
3. International Shipping: For orders outside the EU, we partner with global carriers such as FedEx or DHL International. This includes customs documentation assistance and tracking from dispatch to delivery. All shipments are prepared with sustainable packaging materials, such as recycled cardboard and biodegradable fillers, to minimise environmental impact.

Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the order’s weight, dimensions, destination, and selected method when and where applicable. These are real-time estimates which are always subject to change:
1. Within the Netherlands: Free for orders over €35; otherwise, €7 for standard, €24.80 for express (before 12pm).
2. EUR 1 Zone including Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Austria, Spain, and Sweden: Standard rates start at €13, express to be determined by us.
3. EUR 2 Zone including the rest of Europe excluding Russia: €18.50 for standard, express to be determined by us.
4. Rest of the world (ROW): Rates start at €25.55 for standard and a quote is required for express, varying by region (e.g., North America, Asia). Promotional free shipping may apply during sales events. Taxes and duties for international orders are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in our shipping fees.

Processing and Delivery Times
Orders are processed within 2-5 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding Dutch holidays) from the time of payment confirmation. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to factors like weather, customs delays, or carrier issues:
1. Netherlands: 2-5 business days for standard, same-day or next-day for express in select areas.
2. EU: 5-7 business days for standard, 3-5 for express.
3. International: 7-10 business days for standard, 5-7 for express. We aim to dispatch same-day for orders placed before 2 PM CET. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking details once shipped.

Order Tracking
Every order includes a unique tracking number sent via email. Access real-time updates through our website’s ‘Order Tracking‘ page or the carrier’s portal. If you encounter issues, contact our support team at hello@socksley.com with your order number.

Shipping Restrictions and Prohibitions
We ship to most countries worldwide but may restrict deliveries to certain regions due to legal, logistical, or security reasons (e.g., embargoed countries). Hazardous materials are not included in our sportswear products, but we comply with all EU export regulations. For bulk or wholesale orders, custom shipping arrangements may be required—contact us for details.

Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments
If your package is lost, damaged, or significantly delayed:
1. Report issues within 7 days of the estimated delivery date.
2. For damaged items, provide photos of the packaging and products.
3. We will investigate with the carrier and offer a replacement, refund, or reshipment at no extra cost. SOCKSLEY is not liable for delays caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes) or incorrect address information provided by the customer.

Address Changes and Undeliverable Packages
Ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout. Changes after processing may incur additional fees. If a package is undeliverable (e.g., incorrect address or refused delivery), it will be returned to our warehouse. We may charge return shipping costs and a restocking fee before resending or refunding.

Customs and International Considerations
For non-EU shipments, customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, VAT, and clearance fees. SOCKSLEY provides accurate declarations but cannot control or predict these charges. Delays due to customs are outside our control. We recommend checking your country’s import regulations before ordering.
