At SOCKSLEY, we stand behind the quality of our sportswear and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This Returns Policy details the process for returning or exchanging items, ensuring a fair and straightforward experience. As an EU-based company in the Netherlands, we comply with consumer protection laws, including the right to withdraw from distance contracts. By purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility for Returns
You may return most items within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange, provided they meet the following criteria:
1. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags, labels, and packaging intact.
2. Personalised or custom-made products (e.g., monogrammed sportswear) are non-returnable unless defective.
3. Hygiene-sensitive items like socks or undergarments are only returnable if unopened and in sealed packaging.
4. Returns must include proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

Return Process
1. Pack items securely in the original or similar packaging and ship to our returns address: SOCKSLEY, Sieradenweg 17, 1336SL Almere Buiten, Flevoland, Netherlands. A return slip is already provided in the package delivered to you. Replace the one on the package with this.
2. Once received and inspected (typically within 5-7 business days), we’ll process your refund or exchange.

Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of approval. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our fault (e.g., wrong item sent).
1. Exchanges for different sizes, colours, or styles are subject to availability. If unavailable, a refund will be provided.
2. For defective or incorrect items, we cover all costs, including return shipping, and offer a replacement or full refund.

Return Shipping Costs
1. EU Returns: Free prepaid labels provided.
2. International Returns: Customer pays return shipping; we recommend tracked methods for security.
3. If the return is due to manufacturing defects or our error, we’ll reimburse reasonable shipping costs upon verification.

Inspection and Rejection
We inspect all returns for compliance with eligibility criteria. If items are damaged, used, or missing parts due to customer mishandling, the return may be rejected, and items sent back at your expense. We reserve the right to deduct cleaning or repair fees if necessary.

Exceptions and Special Cases
1. Sale or clearance items are returnable but may incur a restocking fee of 10%.
2. Bulk or wholesale orders follow separate agreements.
3. During peak seasons (e.g., holidays), processing times may extend slightly.

Consumer Rights Under EU Law
As per the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day cooling-off period to withdraw from the contract without reason. Notify us in writing (through email) to exercise this right. This does not apply to in-store purchases or custom goods.
